Wish I had bought these a long time ago.

About a year ago, I'd had enough of scraped shins so bought some compression 'sleeves' simply because I preferred the velcro opening and fitting. Fast forward to now where the new bars have heavier knurling and all this type did was reduce but not stop shin scrape and bleeding.

Today I deadlifted using the Tuff Shin Savers for the first time and I purposely ran the bar up my shins on my lifts just to see how they would perform.

I am pleased to say my shins remain intact, free from scrapes. Therefor, I am impressed and happy to recommend. The service from the company was quick and the sizing is pretty accurate..... I do wish they had a full or partial zip for ease of use though.

So Far, So Great

I used these just this week for the first time, and after my first working set I thought, "I'm an idiot for not buying these months ago."

As I said, they've been used only once but they worked great. In the past I've used thick soccer socks to help reduce the scraping and bleeding on my shins. But after seeing an advertisement for this type of equipment I decided to do some research and make a purchase. And I'm glad I did both, because Tuff was not the first product I looked into. But given the other reviews, they were the ones I went with.

They stayed in place, they created a friction free pull, and stopped all marks I would have had in the past. There's no issue with a stirrup, because there isn't one. They appear well made with good stitching and thick materials.

After about six months of use, I'll update.
